In 2017, Matthew and Jennifer embarked on a journey that was not only about business but about second chances and redemption. Their story is one of resilience, overcoming adversity, and a deep commitment to making a positive impact on the lives of others.

It all began on October 11, 2017, when Matthew and Jennifer took the leap and purchased TrueCore Cleaning. But this wasn't just any business venture for them; it was a mission rooted in their own personal experiences.   

Matthew faced personal struggles, overcoming addiction and maintaining his sobriety since 2007. Fate brought Jennifer and Matthew together in Tucson, where they found common ground in their struggles and aspirations.

Jennifer similarly had battled and conquered addiction, celebrating 17 years of sobriety. Her journey was marked by challenges, including a relapse after her release from prison in May 2006. However, she found hope and support at the Miracle Center, where she began her path to recovery in January 2007.

Their dream of owning TrueCore Cleaning was not without obstacles. Despite facing numerous rejections, they persevered in their pursuit of a loan to make their vision a reality. Finally, after months of relentless effort, they secured a loan of nearly $300,000 at a staggering 28% interest rate.

TrueCore Cleaning became more than just a business for Jennifer and Matthew; it became a beacon of hope for those seeking a second chance. They recognized the challenges faced by individuals transitioning from recovery programs, prisons, or single parenthood, and they were determined to make a difference.

All employees at TrueCore are given the opportunity for redemption and a fresh start. For Jennifer and Matthew, it's not just about providing employment; it's about offering support, guidance, and a sense of belonging to those who have struggled to find their place in society.

Since acquiring TrueCore, Jennifer and Matthew's dedication has borne fruit, with the company now boasting 30 employees. Each member of the TrueCore team represents a story of resilience and determination, a testament to the transformative power of second chances.
